Snoozing lets you temporarily pause follow-up reminders for a contact. It's useful when you know you don't need to follow up right now, but you will need to later and you don't want the contact cluttering your active follow-up board in the meantime.
What Snoozing Does
When you snooze a contact:
Follow-up reminders for that contact are paused for the duration you set
The contact displays a "Snoozed" badge so you can see their status at a glance
When the snooze period expires, the contact automatically returns to the follow-up board as if the snooze never happened
Snoozing doesn't change the contact's pipeline stage, notes, tags, or any other data. It only affects follow-up timing.
How to Snooze a Contact
Find the contact on the follow-up board
Click the snooze action (clock icon)
Select the snooze duration β how long you want to pause reminders
Confirm the snooze
The contact will immediately show the "Snoozed" badge and be deprioritized on the follow-up board.
When the Snooze Expires
Once the snooze duration is up:
The contact reappears on the follow-up board in its normal position
The "Snoozed" badge is removed
Follow-up timing resumes as normal
No notification is sent, the contact simply becomes active again
Check your follow-up board regularly to catch contacts returning from snooze.
When to Use Snooze
Good use cases:
- A contact said "message me next week" β snooze for 7 days
- You've followed up and want to give them a few days before the next touchpoint
- The contact is on vacation or unavailable for a known period
- You're prioritizing other contacts today and will get to this one later
Not ideal for:
- Contacts you'll never follow up with, use mark as "no follow-up needed"
- Contacts you want to permanently remove, use delete.
