Automates follow-up reminders: Leads appear on your follow-up board when it's time to reach out again (based on your custom stage timings in hours or days)
Tracks reply rates: See which outreach messages get the most responses so you can double down on what works
Organizes leads with tags: Tag contacts as "Hot Lead," "Call Booked," "Converted," etc. and filter your board by tag
Gives you team analytics: Track individual and team performance with detailed statistics
Works with ManyChat: Automatically tracks leads who receive or reply to your ManyChat automations
What DM Tracker Does NOT Do
It does not send messages automatically. You and your team write and send every message yourselves. Inside Instagram's 24-hour reply window you can send your reply directly from the DM Tracker inbox; outside it, DM Tracker forwards you to Instagram.
It does not automate follow-up messages. Instagram's API has a strict 24-hour window - after 24 hours, no automated messages can be sent. This is a Meta/Instagram rule, not a DM Tracker limitation. That's exactly why DM Tracker exists: to tell you who needs a follow-up and when, so you can send it yourself.
Where Do I Reply to Leads?
Right in DM Tracker. Open the conversation in your inbox and reply from there whenever the contact's 24-hour reply window is open. When it isn't, DM Tracker forwards you to the conversation on Instagram. DM Tracker links you to each lead:
On mobile (iOS & Android): DM Tracker opens the Instagram conversation directly
On desktop: DM Tracker links to the lead's Instagram profile
How Do Contacts Get Into DM Tracker?
Two ways:
Automatically: anyone who messages your connected Instagram account appears in DM Tracker as a new contact, together with the conversation.
Manually, for outreach: when you DM someone who has never replied to you, Instagram does not share who received the message, so add them as an outreach contact yourself. When they reply, DM Tracker matches the conversation to your contact automatically.
Conversations from before you connected your Instagram account are not imported, tracking starts at the moment of connection.
