DM Tracker just launched a powerful new Statistics Dashboard to help you optimize your Instagram sales process with data-driven insights. This guide walks through every section and shows you how to get the most out of it:
Step 1: Set Your Date Range
The date range selector at the top-right controls every metric on the page. Change it once and all sections update together.
Preset | Best for |
Today | Real-time check-in during the workday |
7 Days | Weekly team reviews (default) |
30 Days | Monthly performance and campaign comparisons |
90 Days | Quarterly trends and strategic planning |
All Time | Full history since you started using DmTracker |
Custom | Any specific date range — click Custom, pick your dates, and hit Apply |
Tip: Always set the date range first before reading any metrics. It is the most common reason numbers look unexpected.
🔁 Follow-Up Statistics
Follow-Ups Sent: See the total number of follow-up messages sent by your team.
➤ Filter by time frame in the top-right corner.
Follow-Ups per Stage: Visual breakdown of follow-ups across your follow-up pipeline stages.
On-Time vs. Late Follow-Ups: Track how well your team is sticking to follow-up schedules.
Why On-Time Rate Matters
Late follow-ups mean contacts are waiting too long for a response. This hurts conversion — especially in DM sales where speed builds trust.
🚀 Outreach Statistics
Outreach Sent & Replies Received: Monitor daily outreach volume and reply count.
➤ Shows total reply rate on the right-hand side.
Outreach by Reason: View how many messages were sent by reason (e.g., new followers, viewed stories) and compare reply rates across each type.
➤ Example: “Viewed Story” replies perform better than “New Follower” - prioritize accordingly.
Outreach by Message Template:
➤ See which outreach templates are used most and how each is performing.
➤ Identify top-performing messages and cut underperformers.
How to use this:
Compare reply rates across reasons — you will usually find that some perform significantly better than others.
Action step: If "Viewed Story" outreach has a 48% reply rate but "New Follower" only gets 22%, shift more of your team's effort toward story viewers.
See which outreach templates are being used the most and how each one is performing. This tells you:
Which scripts your team defaults to
Which scripts actually produce replies
Where to focus your next round of A/B testing
Action step: If a template has been sent 200+ times with a reply rate below 20%, it is time to rewrite or retire it.
🏷 Tag Statistics
Smart teams create tags that capture lead temperature, intent, and behavior so they can clearly see what’s happening with the contacts they’re reaching.
For example:
Tag | What it means |
Hot Lead | High interest, actively engaging, priority follow-up |
Warm | Showed interest but needs nurturing |
Cold | Low engagement, may re-engage later |
Ready to Buy | Expressed clear purchase intent |
Price Shoppper | Interested but comparing options |
Referral | Came through a recommendation |
When your team tags contacts consistently, the Tag Statistics section turns into a powerful lens on your pipeline health. Read more here.
🏆 Team Leaderboard (Left Sidebar)
The leaderboard sidebar on the left side of the Statistics page ranks each team member's activity during the selected period.
What it shows:
Outreach sent per person
Follow-ups completed per person
Contacts marked "No Follow-Up Needed" per person
How to use it:
Recognize top performers: Share wins in team meetings or Slack.
Spot coaching opportunities: A rep with high outreach but low follow-ups is starting conversations they are not finishing.
Create healthy competition: Visibility alone motivates most teams to step up.
